The humble duffel bag is the ultimate gear hauler. Duffel bags come in all kinds of shapes and sizes and can be made of various materials. Some are round and cylindrical, and others are


more rectangular. Regardless they can all store and transport oodles of stuff.

The traditional duffel bag it was typically carried by two grab handles and carried by your side or using the shoulder strap, slung over one’s shoulder. But more often now, duffel bags can be found with backpack straps, making duffels even more versatile.

Duffel bags can be used as overnight bags, gym bags, gear storage or even travel bags.

Why travel with a duffel bag?

There are plenty of reasons to use a duffel bag as a travel bag, the primary being space, and lots of it. A duffel bag usually consists of one single spacious vestibule that can be packed and stuffed to the brim, the exterior is durable and free of unnecessary bells and whistles.

The answer is undoubtably yes! With the aid of packing cubes (packing cells) you can certainly make the most of the spacious interior of the bag, while remaining neat and organised, despite the lack of built-in compartments.
